Abstract. The starting point of my talk will be the classical theorem of Ludwig describing the general form of ortho-order automorphisms of Hilbert space effect algebras. I will continue with some recent results of Molnar characterizing automorphisms of effect algebras. Then I will mention my results in this direction, present some proof techniques, and pose some open problems.
